His main interests include protection of trademarks, new technologies law and issues related to the protection of video games.

He most often advises on cases pertaining to the protection of trademarks, designs and unfair competition. He also deals with copyright protection.

Maciej is actively engaded in academic activity. He is the chairman of the Intellectual Property Students' Association at the University of Warsaw, with which he organized projects such as national IP law torunament "IP Challenge", "Mentoring IP" programme from students from Poland and "IP in Cyberpunk 2077" in collaboration with Queen Mary University of London. Maciej also took part in multiple national and international negotiation tournaments, including ICC Mediation Competition in Paris.
